Silas Coleman is a CERN Technologist at CERN since May 2025, with previous experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Chicago, where novel diamond-embedded resonant cavity designs for quantum transduction were characterized. Contributions include integrating RFSoC boards with dilution refrigerators for superconducting qubit control. Prior to that, Silas served as a Backend Engineer at Mobius Materials, improving database efficiency and API integration, and as a Data Science Intern at Axaitech, analyzing sequencing data for cancer type distinction. Additional experience includes directing and instructing at iD Tech Camps, technical staff roles at the University of Chicago, and working as a Professional Dog Trainer, where skills in program development and training were applied. Silas is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Chicago, expected to graduate in 2025.
