Simone Silvano Gilardoni

Simone Silvano Gilardoni is the SY/STI Group leader at CERN, a role they have held since 2016. Prior to this position, Simone worked as a physicist and served as SY Deputy Department Head at CERN from 2004 to 2015. They obtained a Ph.D. in Particle/Accelerator Physics from the University of Geneva in 2004, following a DEA in Physics from Paris VI and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, Simone holds a diploma in Physics from École Polytechnique and completed high school at Liceo Scientifico G. Peano.
