Stephen Pemberton

Stephen Pemberton is an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician and Project Lead at CERN since April 2010, specializing in electrical quality assurance during magnet interconnections and hardware commissioning of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Prior to this role, Stephen held several positions at EDF Energy from April 1992 to April 2010, including Maintenance Improvement Lead, Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader, and Control and Instrumentation Technician, focusing on maintenance best practices, team management, and process control. Stephen also took a 17-month career break for a solo world trip between November 2003 and April 2005. Formal education includes multiple qualifications in engineering maintenance and control from institutions such as Blackpool & Fylde College and Bolton College.
