Thomas Oulevey is an experienced System Engineer currently working at CERN in the Controls Group within the Beams Department since October 2011, responsible for the controls infrastructure of CERN’s accelerator complex. Previously, Thomas served as a System Engineer and Service Manager in the IT Department, contributing to the support of extensive server and desktop systems, as well as the development of Scientific Linux CERN. Prior experience includes roles as a Service Management Specialist at ISO International Organization for Standardization, Founder & Chief Technical Officer at RTXSYS, Contract Manager for the European Southern Observatory, System Engineer at Elonex, and Helpdesk Support at Nielsen. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oxford Brookes University and a DUT in Informatique from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II).
