Tim Bell

Tim Bell is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Lead and Compute and Monitoring Group Leader at CERN since 2016. Bell has a well-established background in management roles, including serving as a member of the Open Infrastructure Foundation Board and the OpenStack Foundation Management Board, where representation of the community has been a key focus. Prior positions include group leadership in Operating Systems and Infrastructure Services at CERN, technology management at IBM overseeing Deutsche Bank's outsourcing infrastructure, and a pivotal role as IT Infrastructure Manager for Deutsche Banking Private Banking in Europe.
