Trisha Debnath

Trisha Debnath is a Doctoral Student at CERN, starting in October 2023, with a focus on implementing Machine Learning techniques for recast studies in Particle Physics Experiments related to new Physics at the Large Hadron Collider. Previously, Trisha served as Deputy Chair of the Young Scientist Committee for the CMS Collaboration from June 2024 to June 2025 and worked as a Research Intern at Laboratoire de Physique Nucléaire et de Hautes Energies in March to July 2023. Trisha's research background includes internships at Observatoire de Paris for the Opaci Project, a fellowship with The Mathematics Society at St. Stephen's College, experience as a Kathmandu Astrophysics School Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and additional research roles at Birla Institute of Technology and Science and IUCAA. Trisha holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Experimental High Energy Physics from École Polytechnique, an MS in Nuclear, Particle, Astroparticle, and Cosmology from Sorbonne Université, and a BS in Physics from St. Stephen's College.
