Umar Sohail Qureshi

Umar Sohail Qureshi is an accomplished undergraduate research fellow specializing in high energy particle physics at CERN, focusing on analyzing proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider under the guidance of Dr. Alfredo Gurrola. Concurrently, Qureshi serves as a teaching assistant at Vanderbilt University for courses in linear algebra, ordinary differential equations, and quantum mechanics, while also engaging in multiple research projects, including machine learning applications in astrophysics and deep learning in simulation science. With a solid background in mathematics and physics, Qureshi has contributed to various educational platforms as a mathematics educator and content creator, producing extensive learning resources.
