Vilius Č.

Vilius Č. is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Geneva since February 2022 and a Visiting Research Scientist at CERN since October 2018, focusing on the development of a deep neural network for the CMS experiment to search for exotic long-lived particles. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, mentoring high school students in computational techniques, and conducting an exploratory study during the Manchester Summer Programme at The University of Manchester to measure a specific decay mode of ψ(2S). Vilius also participated in the BP Manchester Summer Intern Programme, where projects involved predicting seismic wave properties and analyzing bacterial growth on graphene flakes. Vilius holds a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from Imperial College London and a bachelor's degree from The University of Manchester.
