Wilke van der Schee is currently a Research Fellow at CERN, where they focus on advanced theoretical physics. They completed their Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at Utrecht University, where their research utilized gauge/gravity duality to describe quark-gluon plasma. Previously, Wilke held postdoctoral research positions at MIT and Utrecht University, funded by a personal Veni grant from the Dutch NWO. Additionally, they have experience as a VWO teacher in mathematics and have served as a member of the University Council at Utrecht University. Wilke also played a role in guiding high school students to the International Physics Olympiad in Iran.
