Yash Lokare

Yash Lokare is a highly skilled researcher in the field of physics with diverse experience across several prestigious institutions. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University, Yash investigates the topological nature of conducting and edge surface states in topological insulators while also modeling classical nonlinear dynamical systems on NISQ devices. Additionally, Yash works as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas, where the focus is on matter-wave interferometric setups using Bose-Einstein condensates. Yash has contributed to notable projects at the University of Sydney, CERN, University College London, and The Australian National University, engaging in innovative research from optical properties of propulsion sails to co-authoring a book with an established scientist. Yash holds BTech in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and is pursuing advanced degrees at Brown University, including a PhD in Physics.
