Eric Grancher has extensive experience in the IT department at CERN since September 1996, where current responsibilities include leading communications systems, platforms, workflows, and database services. Notable achievements include improving Oracle database stability and performance and developing critical applications for the LHC quality assurance. Additionally, Eric has contributed as a technology expert for the Human Brain Project at the European Commission and has completed research internships at École normale supérieure de Lyon, focusing on parallel computing and neural networks. Eric holds multiple advanced degrees in computer science and engineering from Télécom Paris and École normale supérieure de Lyon.
