Catherine Walker

Catherine Walker is a seasoned safety professional with extensive experience in health and safety across various industries, including mining and environmental health. Currently serving as a Senior Safety Specialist at MMC Corp since January 2023, Catherine has previously held positions as a Health and Safety Specialist at both Ecovyst, Inc. and PQ Corporation, where responsibilities included conducting audits, inspections, and hazard assessments, as well as monitoring environmental controls. Early career roles included Safety Supervisor and Associate Safety Supervisor at Walter Energy, where significant contributions were made in improving safety protocols and training materials. Catherine also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant in the Mining Department at Missouri S&T. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Catherine possesses a strong working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations and is certified as a Dust & Noise Inspector.
