Anthony Tu has a diverse range of work experience in the software development industry. Anthony began their career in 2016 as a Unity/C# Software Developer at Unyte Health Inc. From there, they moved on to Epson Canada in 2017, where they worked as an AR Software Developer, creating and maintaining application solutions for the Epson Moverio AR SDK. In the same year, they joined Muse® by Interaxon Inc. as a Software Developer - Platform, where they worked with C++, React Native, Swift, and JavaScript to develop internal SDK tools and implement the visual interface for the application's login screen.
In 2018, Anthony joined Uken Games as a Software Game Developer, playing a critical role in the feature development of the mobile game "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire." Anthony also supported artists in implementing UI designs for the game. In 2019, Anthony had two roles, first as a Game Application Intern at NVIDIA, where they developed for the client of NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and then as a Software Developer - Maya at Autodesk, where they maintained the codebase for Maya and made bug fixes and feature modifications.
More recently, Anthony worked at SideFX Software as a Software Developer - Game Engines, where they were the lead developer for the Houdini Engine for Unity plugin. Anthony engineered solutions for bugs and feature requests and designed and implemented automated regression test frameworks for the Unity and Unreal plugins.
Currently, Anthony is a Senior Programmer at Certain Affinity, starting in 2022.
From 2015 to 2020, Anthony Tu pursued a Bachelor's degree in Honours Computer Science/Software Engineering Option with a Co-op program at the University of Waterloo.
