Ian B.

Ian B. has a strong and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Ian is currently working as a Senior FX Artist at Certain Affinity since June 2022. Prior to this, Ian worked at TruPlay Games as a Visual Effects Artist from October 2021 to June 2022. Ian also worked at Digital Extremes as an FX Artist for nearly a decade, from September 2012 to October 2021. Before that, Ian had a role as an Effects Designer at Square Enix from September 2008 to July 2012. Their career in the gaming industry began as a Flash Animator at Fatkat from September 2006 to March 2008.

Ian B. attended the University of Iowa from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language and Literature. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they enrolled at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts, where they obtained a Commercial Animation Diploma with a focus on 2D Animation and VFX.
