John Grubner

John Grubner has a diverse work experience in the field of visual effects and animation. John started their career as an Animator/Audio & Lighting Stage Technician at Drexel University Broadcasting Station in 2000 and worked there until 2002. John then joined Strybuc Industries as a Technical Illustrator from September 2000 to November 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a 3D Artist at Traffic.com. In 2004, they became an Independent Contractor at Contract VFX, where they worked until 2008. In 2005, they briefly worked as a 3D Generalist/Flash Developer at Logistic Services International, Inc. John then started their own company, Iceanimal inc., where they served as the Owner from January 2008 to December 2010. John then joined The Walt Disney Company as a VFX Artist from February 2010 to May 2011. Currently, they are working as a VFX Director at Certain Affinity, starting from May 2011.

John Grubner attended The Art Institutes from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Traditional and Computer animation. John then continued their education at The Art Institutes from 2000 to 2002, however, the specific degree name or field of study for this period is not provided.
