Kyle Chittenden

Kyle Chittenden has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and game development. Kyle started their career at Team Tripleslash, where they worked as an Animator from October 2012 to September 2014. During this time, they contributed to the release of Magnetic By Nature: Awakening for the Xbox 360 Indie Game Market. Kyle then joined Retro Yeti Games as an Animator/Designer from January 2014 to May 2015, working on the creation of their game titled 404Sight. Following that, they served as an Adjunct 3D Modeling Professor at the University of Utah from August 2014 to May 2015, where they taught undergraduate and graduate Maya classes. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Level Designer/Animator at Eat Sleep Play. Their next role was at Harmonix Music Systems, where they worked as an Animator from June 2016 to October 2017. Kyle then joined Certain Affinity, initially as an Animator from January 2018 to February 2019, then progressively moving up to Senior Animator, Advanced Animator, Lead Animator, and currently serving as a Senior Lead Animator. Alongside their work at Certain Affinity, they also took on the role of an Unreal Engine Course Author at Epic Games from January 2022. Additionally, they have been serving as an Adjunct Animation Professor at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2020.

Kyle Chittenden's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at the University of Utah to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film and Media Arts with a focus on Entertainment Arts and Engineering. Kyle completed this degree in 2013.

In 2013, Kyle continued their education at the University of Utah, this time enrolling in the Master of Entertainment Arts and Engineering (MEAE) program. Kyle studied in this program for two years and graduated in 2015.

Following their Master's degree, Kyle attended the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy in 2015 to further specialize in Video Game Design with a focus on Leadership and Production. Kyle completed the program and received a Certificate of Honors in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Kyle Chittenden also holds a certification as an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro 7 Level One, although specific details regarding when and where they obtained this certification are not provided.
