Stefan Sinclair

Stefan Sinclair has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stefan started their career as a Cook at KFC, where they gained customer service skills and experience in food preparation. Stefan then worked as an Electroplater's Apprentice at Lincoln Industries before transitioning to mechanical design as a Mechanical Designer at Centurion International. During their time at Centurion International, they utilized Pro/ENGINEER CAD/CAM software and collaborated with various teams on design and manufacturing projects.

Stefan later joined Neapco as a Production Engineer, where they gained experience in production processes. Stefan then worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, contributing to games such as Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 for Xbox and Xbox 360. Stefan witnessed the growth of Bungie Software, from their acquisition by Microsoft to their transition to independence.

Following their tenure at Microsoft, Stefan joined Bungie Studios itself as a Software Development Engineer, further refining their skills in game development. Stefan then joined Certain Affinity as a Senior Programmer, later assuming the roles of Director of Technical Operations and Engineering Lead. Stefan contributed to various engineering projects and operations during their time at Certain Affinity.

In 2017, Stefan joined Wave as a Senior Engineer, where they made valuable contributions until 2022. Currently, they are working at Certain Affinity as a Senior Lead Engineer, leveraging their extensive experience in engineering and software development. Stefan has also pursued freelance software development, specializing in developing AWS cloud computing cost analysis and reporting tools, as well as creating custom integration tools and back-end REST APIs using Ruby + Rails and Node.js for companies like IVxIV Software.

Stefan Sinclair attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
