Chris Varnado

Chris Varnado is an experienced business development manager specializing in hydrogen and carbon capture technologies. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager - Hydrogen at Certarus Ltd. since August 2022, Varnado previously held the position of Director of Carbon Capture Business Development at Chart Industries, where significant commercialization efforts and partnerships with CO2 emitters were developed. Varnado's extensive career includes roles at Johnson Matthey, where responsibilities spanned business development and account management in the gas processing sector, and earlier experiences in technical sales and engineering at Atofina and Oxy. Varnado holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University.
