Erwin Verkade

Erwin Verkade is an experienced arts-microbiologist with extensive clinical and research expertise. Since February 2016, Erwin has served in this role at both Certe and Treant Zorggroep. Prior to these positions, Erwin held the same title at Franciscus Ziekenhuis Roosendaal and Admiraal De Ruyter Ziekenhuis from June 2014 to January 2016. Erwin completed a PhD focused on the characterization of livestock-associated MRSA CC398 at VU medisch centrum, where involvement spanned from April 2009 to May 2014. Earlier training included positions as AIOS Medische Microbiologie at St. Elisabeth Ziekenhuis and Amphia Ziekenhuis between 2007 and 2014. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) obtained from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences.
