Tony Smith

Tony Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Tony is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at CertifID since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Team Lead at Rocket Central from February 2022 to July 2022. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Team Lead at Rocket Mortgage from April 2021 to February 2022.

Tony has also spent a significant portion of their career at Cadre5, where they held the position of Software Engineering Manager from October 2018 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading teams and overseeing the development of enterprise applications for clients in various industries. Tony also served as a Senior Software Consultant at Cadre5 from February 2005 to September 2018, gaining experience in roles such as Technical Lead, Project Manager, Software Architect, Software Developer, and User Interface Designer, with a focus on Microsoft .NET technologies.

Previous to their time at Cadre5, Tony worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Talentsphere from 2004 to 2005, and as a Senior Software Engineer Manager at Scripps Networks Interactive from 1999 to 2003.

Tony Smith completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science at Virginia Tech from 1988 to 1993. Tony then went on to pursue a Master's of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering at East Tennessee State University from 1994 to 1996.
