Aaron Pleitner

Aaron Pleitner, Ph.D., is the Director of Technical Services - Microbiology at Certified Group, where they provide leadership and technical guidance in food microbiology. With over 15 years of experience in the food industry, Aaron has worked with a diverse range of products and has led initiatives in quality and food safety. Previously, Aaron held positions as Senior Manager at Impossible Foods, Senior Scientist at Impossible Foods, and Food Safety Scientist at Danone, where they focused on microbial risk assessment and food safety standards. Aaron earned a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology, and a Ph.D. in Food Safety from Purdue University.
