Colin Johnson

Colin Johnson is an experienced professional in product development and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Certor Sports since June 2020, leading the Research, Design, and Innovation Team. Previously, Colin held various roles at VICIS, Inc. from 2016 to June 2020, including Development Program Manager and Test and Prototyping Manager, focusing on head protection technologies. Earlier, Colin contributed as a Senior Design Engineer and Senior Test Engineer at K2 Sports from 2010 to 2016, overseeing the lifecycle of backcountry ski tools and supporting various testing standards. Colin's career began at Cirrus Aircraft from 2007 to 2010 as an Airframe Design/Test Engineer, specializing in aircraft component design and compliance testing. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
