Allan Glass

Allan Glass has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Allan is currently working as a Senior Compliance Analyst at Certrec Corporation since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Staff Consultant at GSE DP Engineering from November 2019 to March 2020. From January 2018 to November 2019, Allan worked as a Training Coordinator at DP Engineering. Allan also worked as an Operations Instructor on a contract basis at Absolute Consulting from August 2017 to November 2017. Before entering the consulting field, Allan was a Partner at Arlene & Allan's Place from October 2016 to August 2017.

Allan spent a significant portion of their career at Luminant, starting as a Senior Engineering Technician from May 1983 to December 1988, where they focused on Instrumentation and Controls/Electrical System Engineering. Allan later became a Senior Engineer from December 1988 to October 1993. At Luminant, Allan's responsibilities included Initial Startup Testing, Preoperational Testing, Engineering Surveillance Testing, Nuclear Test Engineering, and obtaining a State of Texas Professional Engineer's License. Allan then served as a Senior Reactor Operator from December 1994 to November 2011 and as a Training Supervisor from November 2011 to October 2016.

Allan began their professional career in the US Navy, where they served as an ET1/SS in the Staff Training Group and Reactor Controls Division. Allan was also an Instructor at S8G Prototype and held various training and qualifications roles on the USS Guitarro from November 1976 to March 1983.

Allan Glass completed their secondary education at South San Antonio High School, although details about any degree or field of study are not available. Allan pursued their higher education at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
