Ionut V.

Ionut V. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ionut started their career in 2009 at Selgros Cash&Carry as a Salesperson, where they developed excellent communication and customer service skills. Ionut then moved on to Pirelli Tyres in 2010, where they worked as a UNIX/SAP/WIN System Administrator.

In 2012, Ionut joined IBM as a 2nd lvl AIX/Linux Technician, providing support for a wide variety of UNIX and Linux systems. Ionut later took on the role of Shift Lead - 2nd lvl AIX/Linux Technician, where they were responsible for dispatching tickets, reporting issues, and communicating with different teams.

From 2016 to 2022, Ionut worked at SIT consulting a.s., where they held the position of Systems and Infrastructure Administrator. Their responsibilities included administering hardware and software for IBM and VMware products and building office infrastructure from scratch. Ionut also created and managed the Disaster Recovery solution for NSDI for all AIX servers.

Currently, Ionut is working as a Systems Admin at certSIGN, beginning in September 2022.

Ionut V. attended Universitatea din Craiova from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Informatics Economics. Ionut obtained several additional certifications, including the Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Red Hat in March 2015, the VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization from VMware in November 2013, and the AN12 - Power Systems for AIX II: AIX Implementation and Administration from IBM in February 2013.
