Stiverson Palma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stiverson began their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at Open Communications Security, where they worked on projects focused on protecting financial banks against electronic frauds. In 2005, they joined IntVision Solutions as a Software Engineer, leading J2EE projects and developing projects for BPM and SOA using IBM WebSphere technologies. Later in 2005, they joined IBM as an IT Specialist, working on the design and development of internal applications using J2EE and SAP NetWeaver. In 2006, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Politec before moving on to iG - Internet Group do Brasil in 2007, where they served as a Software Architect. In the same year, Palma became the Chief Executive Officer at Certsys Tecnologia da Informação. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Founding Partner at Reaction, a global community aimed at creating exponential change through innovation.

Stiverson Palma completed their OPM - Owner/President Management degree from Harvard Business School in the years 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, in 2019, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Stanford Executive Program - SEP. In 2018, they also attended the same institution for the Executive Program for Growing Companies - EPGC.

In 2017, Stiverson Palma pursued further education by attending Harvard Business School Online for the course Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen. They also attended MIT Sloan School of Management in the same year for a course in Negotiation and Influence, with a focus on Administration and Business.

Stiverson Palma obtained their MBA degree in Gestão Empresarial from FIA in the years 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their MSc degree in Software Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2007 and 2009.

Their undergraduate education was completed at Escola Politécnica da USP, where they obtained a degree in Engenharia de Computação (Computer Engineering) from the years 2000 to 2004.
