Joe B.

Joe B. has a strong background in data analysis and intelligence. Joe is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Certus Group, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist in the United States Air Force from November 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining the Air Force, Joe B. worked as a Lead Data Scientist at the Cyber Geography Research Institute International Inc. from March 2015 to November 2019. Joe gained experience as an Analyst at Blackbird Technologies from April 2013 to March 2015.

Earlier in their career, Joe B. served as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst at Lockheed Martin from September 2009 to February 2013. Joe started their professional journey as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Army from November 2003 to September 2009.

Prior to their military service, Joe B. worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at CDR Manufacturing Inc. from August 2002 to November 2003. Overall, Joe B. has extensive experience in data analysis, intelligence, and manufacturing engineering.

Joe B. has a diverse education history. In 2000 to 2002, they attended the Institute of Electronic Technologies and earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronic Engineering. Joe then pursued a Spanish Language program at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in 2004. From 2007 to 2008, Joe studied Liberal Arts at Hillsborough Community College, earning an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Moving forward, they attended the University of South Florida from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography. Joe furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Geography at the University of South Florida from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they briefly attended the University of Kentucky and received a Master of Science (M.S.) Certificate in Digital Mapping. Currently, Joe B. is enrolled at the University of the Cumberlands, pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Information Systems, anticipated to be completed in 2025.
