Derek Dunaway is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Smith System Driver Improvement Institute, Inc. since February 2024, Dunaway also contributes as a Board Member for American Safety Council, Inc. since December 2021. Previously, Dunaway held the CEO position at TPC Training Systems, which specializes in industrial skills training, and successfully led Chalkable, a K-12 education technology company, orchestrating a turnaround and strong sales growth before its sale in 2016. Additional leadership roles include CEO of Cyalume Technologies and TechOnLine, along with a directorial position at AppNet and an associate role at Pricewaterhousecoopers. Dunaway holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BBA from Southern Methodist University.
