Ann Lucena

Ms. Lucena joined as a member of the Board in August 2021. She is currently the CEO of San Ramon Regional Medical Center, a 123-bed acute care hospital located in the Bay Area. She serves as the chairperson of the board overseeing the joint venture between John Muir Health and Tenet Healthcare. Ann previously served as Chief of Staff for the President of Hospital Operations of Tenet Healthcare in Dallas, Texas from 2015 until 2018. She returned to San Ramon Regional Medical Center to become its CEO in 2018, having previously served as an administrator over numerous operational departments in the hospital for several years. In her previous work experience in healthcare consulting, Ann served a number of health systems across the US. She earned her undergraduate degrees in human biology and Spanish from Stanford University, and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Harvard Business School Alumni Board as well as on the boards of several hospital industry associations and not-for-profit organizations.
