Jorge Castro

Jorge Castro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and genetics sectors, currently serving as Senior Deployment Manager EMEA&LATAM and Account Manager for Portugal at Cerus since June 2014. Prior roles include Senior Deployment Manager EMEA and Deployment Manager EMEA at Cerus, Key Account Manager at CGC Genetics from October 2013 to June 2014, and Product Manager at Grifols from September 2008 to October 2012. Jorge began a career at Baptista Marques Diagnóstica, Lda as Especialista de Produto from December 2004 to August 2008. Jorge holds a Licenciatura in Engenharia Biotecnológica from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, completed between 1999 and 2004.
