Scott Buker

Scott Buker has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Scott started their career in 1982 as a Blood Bank Account Manager at Abbott Diagnostics, where they worked until 1987. Following this, they held the position of Territory Manager at DuPont from 1987 to 1989. Scott then joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics as the Director of Marketing, Systems, from 1987 to 1997. Simultaneously, they also worked as the Marketing Director at HemaSure from 1997 to 2000. In 1997, they transitioned to Whatman, a part of GE Healthcare, to become the National Sales Manager, a role they held until 2006. From 2006 to 2014, Scott served as the Executive Director, Strategic Accounts, at the American Red Cross. Lastly, they have been working at Cerus since 2014, initially as the Senior Director, Market Development - North America, and currently as the Vice President National Accounts, beginning in 2023.

Scott Buker attended Miami University from 1976 to 1980. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration during this time.
