Alan Silva

Alan Silva is currently a Data Scientist at CESAR and a PhD student in Statistics at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP). With approximately eight years of experience in R and Python, Alan has developed expertise in data collection, descriptive analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. Previously, Alan worked as an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), where they utilized machine learning to predict life expectancy based on socioeconomic data. Additionally, Alan has served as a Teaching Assistant for various statistics courses, highlighting a strong commitment to both research and education.
