Aaron Quan has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2013, they were a Supplemental Instruction Super Leader and a Simulation Technician at the University of Texas at Dallas. In 2016, they worked as a GRE Tutor at Varsity Tutors, providing weekly sessions for the Graduate Record Examination via teleconference or in-person. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Duke University, revamping commercially available mistuning and flutter analysis code in MATLAB and FORTRAN. Since 2018, they have been a Mechanical Engineering Manager and a Mechanical Design Engineer at CesiumAstro. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, they are responsible for the packaging design of Cesium's line of small form factor phased-array-based communications systems and works closely with an agile, multi-disciplinary team of engineers to investigate the multifaceted trade spaces of spacecraft communications hardware.
Aaron Quan attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Aaron then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University from 2016 to 2018.
