Joseph Yu

Joseph Yu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Joseph started their career at National Instruments as a VXI Software Engineer, where they created and maintained driver and support software for embedded controller platforms. Later, they joined Dunti Corporation as a Hardware/Software Engineer. At PMC-Sierra, Joseph worked as a Staff Wireless Software Engineer, focusing on network protocols and algorithms, particularly in the security area. Joseph then moved to Centapi as a Lead Software Engineer, where they designed and deployed a payment/crediting web platform. At CommScope, Joseph served as a Principal Software Engineer and developed firmware for premium DSL home routers, in addition to building and deploying a Docker-based container solution. Joseph'smost recent position is with CesiumAstro as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer.

Joseph Yu received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1993 to 1997. Joseph then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university from 2004 to 2006.
