Scott Carnahan

Scott Carnahan has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Scott is currently working as a Principal Engineer in Spacecraft Design at CesiumAstro since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Draper Graduate Fellow and a Graduate Research Assistant starting in 2017. Scott also worked as a Spacecraft Software and Simulation Consultant at Heart of Gold LLC from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they had valuable experience at Firefly Space Systems, where they served as an Integrated Product Team Lead and a Propulsion Engineer between 2014 and 2016. Scott also has military experience as an Astronautical Engineer in the US Air Force Reserve from 2010 to 2015.

Scott Carnahan obtained a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Auburn University, specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Scott attended Auburn University from 2010 to 2014. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Scott pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation, focusing on Aerospace.
