Ginger Thornton has extensive experience in education and instructional technology, currently serving as the Director of Instructional Technology at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School since June 2007. Prior to this role, Ginger worked as an English Teacher at the same institution from August 2003 to June 2007. Additional experience includes positions as a Lecturer at Texas A&M University and the University of Virginia, as well as editorial roles with Callaloo: A Journal of African Diaspora Arts & Letters. Ginger's educational background includes an ABD in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia, a Master of Arts in History from Sul Ross State University, and two Master's degrees in English Language and Literature from Baylor University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in English and History.
