Jan Kundrát is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in networking and open-source development. Currently, Jan works at Telecom Infra Project since 2019 and has been a researcher and software engineer at CESNET, z.s.p.o since 2011, specializing in Software Defined Networking (SDN) at the optical/photonic layer. Additionally, Jan has served as a C++ developer and maintainer of the Trojitá IMAP e-mail client at KDE since May 2007, while contributing to Continuous Integration development. Previously, Jan was an HPC Linux cluster administrator at the Institute of Physics of the AS CR from 2003 to 2011 and a developer for Gentoo Linux from 2005 to 2010. Jan holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Charles University, completed in 2012.
