Josef Vojtech

Josef Vojtech started their work experience in 1996 as a Teacher at Business Academy. Josef then transitioned to CESNET, z.s.p.o in 2003, where they held various research positions. From November 2003 to December 2010, they worked as a Researcher. From January 2011 to April 2015, they served as a Senior Research Fellow. Finally, they became the Head of the research department of Optical networks in May 2015.

Josef Vojtech has a strong educational background in the field of technology and networking. Josef completed their high school education at SPŠE Pardubice from 1991 to 1995, specializing in computers. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree at Czech Technical University in Prague from 1995 to 2001, focusing on Computer Hardware and Networks. Josef further expanded their knowledge and expertise by obtaining a Ph.D. in All-optical Networking from the same institution, completing their doctoral studies from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, Josef Vojtech also pursued pedagogy studies at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bc. degree. These educational experiences highlight their commitment to advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of technology, particularly in the areas of networking and computer hardware.
