Rudolf Vohnout

Rudolf Vohnout has extensive experience in the field of computer science and research engagement, currently serving as the Head of the Department at the Faculty of Science, Institute of Computer Science at Jihočeská univerzita v Českých Budějovicích since September 2008. Rudolf has also held the position of Deputy Head of Department at CESNET, z.s.p.o since July 2011, focusing on international research and optical communication. Additional roles include serving as an External Expert Consultant for the National Cyber and Information Security Agency in 2016 and previously working as an IT Project Manager at the State Institute for Drug Control and as a Campus Network Administrator at the University of Pardubice. Rudolf’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Informatics from Prague University of Economics and Business and a master's degree in Transport Technology and Control from the University of Pardubice.
