Colton Smith

Colton Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Colton is currently working as a Quality Engineer at Ceterus since March 2023. Before that, they worked at Xactly Corp as a Software Quality Engineer from May 2021 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Software QA Analyst at Eleos Technologies from February 2020 to January 2022.

Colton also has experience working in academia. At Clemson University, they served as a Human Factors of Software Engineering Lab VR Developer from October 2018 to May 2020. Colton also worked as an intern for the Immersive Space, where they showed students how to use VR technologies and managed VR equipment from August 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, they served as a FIRST Mentor, helping first-generation college freshmen with academic and personal issues and leading meetings and study sessions from August 2017 to May 2019.

Colton's other experiences include working as a Digital Media Intern at The Franklin Institute, where they created an augmented reality game experience using JavaScript and 3D modeling from June 2018 to August 2018. Colton was also an Adobe Scholar at Clemson University in May and June 2017.

Colton Smith is a graduate of Clemson University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Colton has obtained several certifications. These include the Rest API (Intermediate) Certificate from HackerRank, obtained in February 2023, the Scrum Master Certification Specialization from Coursera, obtained in June 2022, and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in August 2022.
