Damien Guillon is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as the scientific and technical leader for the materials-products-process division at Cetim, a prominent technical center with a workforce of 250. In this role since March 2009, Damien has spearheaded the technical strategy to address the challenges faced in the mechanical industry. Previous positions include R&D manager for polymers and composites, where Damien developed the CETIM composite R&D strategy and successfully managed projects with an annual budget of approximately 5 million euros. Prior to joining Cetim, Damien gained valuable experience as a research engineer at Airbus Group Innovations, focusing on the durability and crashworthiness of composite materials. Educationally, Damien holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in mechanical engineering from the same institution.
