Alejandro Calderon has extensive experience in journalism and program coordination, currently serving as the Prevention Specialist and Alcohol Prevention Program Coordinator at CETPA since August 2009, overseeing an initiative funded by the State of Georgia that implements the Strategic Prevention Framework model. Prior to this role, Alejandro worked as a journalist and reporter for Mundo Hispanico Newspaper from February 2005 to August 2009, where responsibilities included writing articles and creating multimedia projects. Alejandro's journalism career also includes a position at Teleantiquia Noticias in Medellín, Colombia, from June 2003 to January 2005, focusing on law and order news and serving as the director and presenter of the midday newscast. Alejandro holds a degree in Social Communications and Journalism from Universidad de Antioquia, obtained between 1996 and 2001.

We are a team of bilingual, bi-cultural behavioral health professionals from different nationalities including the United States who recognizing the need for affordable, linguistic and culturally appropriate counseling services decided to join CETPA to help make these services available to our community in English and in Spanish.
