An educator for more than 30 years, Loyd Nations taught agricultural science at Fairfield, Fruitvale and Van ISD. He also spent two years as a high school principal.
Nations is an Honorary Lone Star FFA Degree recipient, has been an advisor to two state FFA officers and served as a VATAT board member for six years. As a teacher, he enjoyed working with the youth of Texas and took pride in helping them achieve their college and career goals.
Now an iCEV consultant, Nations feels fortunate to continue his involvement with a community of great educators. "Honestly, CTE teachers are some of the most down to earth, level-headed, grounded folks have in this country," he said, "They give of themselves and their time to make a difference in the lives of their students and community."
