Mark Turner

Principal Engineer, Software at CEVA

Mark Turner has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Mark started their career in 1986 as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, where they supervised training and performed end-of-life tests. In 1995, they joined SALIX Technologies as a Senior Engineer, where they designed telecommunications hardware and performed FPGA testing. In 2000, they became a Hardware Manager at Tellabs, managing a hardware and FPGA design team. In 2001, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Megisto Systems, where they designed deep packet inspection processors for cellular networks. From 2003 to 2019, they worked at Hillcrest Labs as a Principal Engineer, supervising embedded software development for microcontrollers. Currently, they are working as a Principal Engineer, Software at CEVA, Inc. where they continue to oversee embedded software development.

Mark Turner earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1986. Mark later obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 1995. In 2007, Mark pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals, completing their studies in 2012.
