Matt Carroll is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Committee for Children, Matt focuses on creating research-based social-emotional learning programs for schools worldwide. Prior positions include Senior Director of Platform Development at Limeade, where Matt led R&D and managed platform architecture, and Director of Development at Practice Fusion, responsible for launching a new engineering office in Seattle. Matt's significant tenure at Microsoft spanned 15 years, during which various roles included Principal Software Development Lead for SQL Server products, showcasing expertise in transforming technologies and managing development teams. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
