CFO Colleague is a financial and operational consulting firm, specializing in private higher education, built by CFOs who understand the realities of running campus finance operations. We support private colleges and universities with everything from interim CFO placement to fractional financial reporting, to strategic analysis that drives real decisions.

Our team works alongside presidents, boards, and finance teams to strengthen budgeting, forecasting, reporting, controls, and long-term financial sustainability using approaches that actually work in higher education. Our Marginal Revenue Analysis is designed to provide benchmarks for academic programs in a way that works as well in the boardroom as in Faculty Meeting, and for the schools that implement it, shows sustainable ways to resource the true educational mission of the institution. Our Administrative Services Assessment brings the same accountability to the non-academic work, ensuring the most efficient resourcing of the educational mission and the employees who support it. Our Comp4Cast tool (free on our website) provides the bird's-eye view needed for senior leaders and boards to make informed decisions, and for other stakeholders to see what the financial picture looks like for the next 5 years.
,
We also provide coaching/mentorship of new CFOs and Controllers, turnaround services and a full complement of best practice solutions. Set up a meeting today and let's talk higher ed finance.
