Michael Mitchual

Michael Mitchual is a seasoned professional in the cybersecurity domain, currently serving as a Cyber Threat Hunter at cFocus Software Incorporated since March 2025. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Elluminates Software from September 2022 to March 2025, and as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder at XOR Security between January and September 2022. Michael's expertise in digital forensics was developed during a tenure as a Digital Forensic Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton from January 2018 to January 2022. Additionally, internship experiences at Leidos, Lockheed Martin, and Apptix provided foundational skills in cyber vulnerability analysis and information technology. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Old Dominion University, completed in 2017, and an Advanced Diploma from Chantilly High School, achieved in 2013.
