Michael Gordon is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President of Legal Research and Assistant General Counsel at CFRA Research since April 2013. In this role, Michael conducts extensive legal and market research on issues impacting publicly-traded companies and provides guidance to institutional investor clients. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Legal Edge Analyst at MSCI Inc. and completed an externship at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, where research on various legal cases was conducted. Michael's academic background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Davidson College, along with a brief educational experience at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Additional early career experiences include internships and research roles focused on legal issues, civil liberties, and technical programming.
