Haocong Ren currently serves as the Lead for Policy and Investment at CGAP since June 2024. Prior to this role, Haocong Ren spent over 15 years at the World Bank, holding positions as Senior Financial Sector Specialist, Financial Sector Specialist, and Financial Analyst from September 2008 to June 2024. Haocong Ren holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Economics from The George Washington University, obtained in December 2005, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Peking University, completed in December 2001.
