Michel Hanouch is an experienced consultant specializing in financial services and climate resilience, currently leading initiatives at CGAP since July 2023. With a focus on strategy and product development, Michel leverages expertise in fintech as a board member at SaveAct Gauteng since March 2019. Previous roles include a position at Amazon Web Services, where support was provided to financial service providers for achieving financial inclusion goals from September 2021 to August 2023. Michel's extensive background includes serving as a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at CGAP and as a strategic advisor at Tyme, providing insights for global expansion. Earlier career experiences include management at Genesis Analytics and research assistance at BusinessMap Foundation. Michel holds a Master's degree in Economics and an Honours degree in Economic Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
