Travis Smith

Travis Smith is a cybersecurity leader and architect with extensive experience in building and advancing security programs within organizations. They have worked in the healthcare industry since 2016, focusing on securing customer PHI and ensuring compliance with HITRUST and HIPAA standards. Currently, as the Director of Engineering at CGC since 2025, Travis leads initiatives aligned with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP. Their previous roles include Security & Development Operations Manager at Healthwise and System Administrator at Adecco Engineering and Technology, where they automated system processes and supported a range of hardware and software solutions. Travis holds a degree in Computer Science from Santa Barbara City College.
